JOHN PASSMORE EDWARDS BICENTENARY CELEBRATIONS

2023 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of John Passmore Edwards, the Cornish philanthropist who gifted the people of Acton with their first free, public library in 1900- the same building that now houses ActOne Cinema, a truly independent community cinema.

As part of a series of events in London and Cornwall that will take place this year to commemorate the occasion- more of which will be announced very soon- this weekend we are offering OUR LOWEST WEEKEND PRICES EVER! £10 adult £8 seniors, students and under 18s

The prices are available for all screenings of the newly released films we show from Friday 12th of May till Sunday 14th of May.

There will be further events to celebrate the bicentenary at Acton Care Centre on Thursday 22 June and at ActOne Cinema on Thursday 21st September .
