Q&A.
-
Were the post-Oscar screenings of previously shown films a success? A) Yes they were – particularly Sinners and One Battle After Another – and we will be programming this way again next year
2.Can Chess be played at the Board Games?
A) Yes – there is a chess board and it has been requested before.
3.What are the criteria for participating in BEAT and how to exhibit at ActOne
A) The entrance for BEAT is closed for this year but we can provide the contact details. Exhibitions outside BEAT can be discussed with Martina
4. Why was the AGM so much later this year?
A) It was agreed that the AGM should have taken place in May – the delay this year was beyond our control.
5 .Is there a defined strategy for diversifying the ActOne audience?
A) Yes: through our programming, through our marketing and through our lounge events.
6.Request for extended audience engagement/post screening discussions
A) It is acknowledged that this is a good idea but there are issues with GDPR and operational promotion. The Classic Club and W3A meetings are existing groups that engage discussion.
