Hello Friends,

Acton Resident, supporter and volunteer at the Old Library, Naomi Wright has been working very hard at Silver Salt Films over the last few years to produce her company Silver Salt Films' debut feature film CENSOR, directed by Prano Bailey-Bond. It’s a psychological horror feature film set in the 1980s, about a British film censor who links a disturbing horror movie to her sister's mysterious disappearance. Here’s the trailer: A message from Naomi: CENSOR stars the incredible Niamh Algar, and premiered at Sundance 2021 and Berlin. But even more excitingly, it is now coming out this FRIDAY on general release in the UK, in 200 screens around the country. And this is why I am writing to you. We really need to fill as many seats as possible on the opening weekend in order to get a good run at the various cinemas, so I would be incredibly happy if you could buy tickets and come with friends - as many as possible! And also spread the word.

On Sunday, I will be at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith at 5.30pm and would LOVE to see as many Acton residents there as possible! Let’s sell it out!

If you can’t come to to that screening many many more screenings are available here:

If you do see it, please let me know what you think.

Many thanks indeed!
